Scope. This notice describes personal information handled through wantechsolutions.com and company enquiries. WAN TECH SOLUTIONS LTD is responsible for that processing. Individual apps and client systems can process different information; their own privacy notice must identify those practices and the responsible operator. This website notice does not assert that every app has the same data practices.
1. Information we receive
- Enquiry information: your name, email address, and any optional phone number, project type, message, or attachments you choose to send through our contact channels. The website contact form does not require an account.
- Business communications: information in correspondence, proposals, support requests, contracts, and billing communications you send us.
- Technical information: requests to our server disclose information such as an IP address, browser information, requested URL, and request time. Hosting and security systems may record this information in operational logs.
- Browser storage: session and anti-forgery cookies support security and forms. A locally stored preference remembers your chosen colour theme. See our Cookie Policy.
Do not submit passwords, payment-card details, health records, identity documents, or other sensitive information through the general enquiry form. If a project needs sensitive information, appropriate instructions and safeguards must be agreed first.
2. How and why we use information
We use enquiry and contact information to answer questions, evaluate requested work, prepare proposals, deliver agreed services, and resolve support issues. We use relevant records to administer contracts, maintain business records, comply with legal obligations, and establish or defend legal claims. Technical information supports website delivery, security, fraud prevention, and fault diagnosis.
Where a law requires a lawful basis, the relevant basis is taking steps you request before a contract, performing a contract, complying with a legal obligation, or our legitimate interests in running and protecting a business, balanced against your rights. Where consent is required, such as for optional direct marketing or non-essential tracking, we must obtain it separately. Submitting an enquiry does not subscribe you to marketing.
3. Storage and recipients
Website enquiries are stored in our website database and are accessible through the authorised administration system. The website also attempts to send an enquiry notification through the configured email service. Support correspondence is handled through the contact channel you use. Information may appear in operational or error logs when a request fails.
Access is limited to authorised personnel and service providers with a relevant business need, including hosting, infrastructure, email, and professional advisers. We may disclose information when legally required, to protect rights and security, or in a business transfer subject to appropriate safeguards and notices. We do not sell website enquiry information or use this website to run behavioural advertising.
4. External resources and links
This website loads fonts from Google Fonts. Your browser contacts Google's font servers, which can receive technical information such as your IP address and browser headers. See Google Fonts' privacy information. External links, including WhatsApp, social networks, client sites, and app stores, lead to separately operated services with their own privacy practices. Opening one of those services is your choice.
5. International processing
Hosting, email delivery, and external services can involve processing outside Ghana or outside your country. Where applicable data-protection law requires safeguards for an international transfer, we must use an appropriate legal mechanism and safeguards. Contact us for information about the arrangements relevant to your enquiry or service; we do not treat acceptance of general terms as blanket consent to restricted transfers.
6. Retention and deletion
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for its purpose and any applicable legal, accounting, security, or dispute obligations. The relevant period depends on whether an enquiry becomes a customer relationship, whether a contract or claim remains active, the type of record, and legal retention requirements. We assess deletion requests against those purposes and explain any lawful reason for keeping particular records.
Deleting an enquiry or account does not necessarily remove records we must retain for a legal obligation or a live dispute. Such records must be limited to that purpose. Backup copies may remain until the relevant backup cycle expires and must not be restored to routine use without applying the deletion again. Contact us for the retention circumstances relevant to your record.
7. Your choices and rights
Depending on applicable law, including Ghana's Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843), and the GDPR or UK GDPR where applicable, you may have rights to information, access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, and withdrawal of consent. These rights are subject to legal conditions and exceptions. We do not use the website enquiry form to make solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.
Write to info@wantechsolutions.com with the subject "Privacy request". Identify the website, app, or project involved and the action you want. We may request proportionate verification, but will not ask you to email your password. We will respond within the period required by the law that applies to your request.
You may complain to Ghana's Data Protection Commission or another competent data-protection authority, including the authority in your usual place of residence where applicable. You do not have to complain to us first to exercise a statutory right.
8. Children and customer-controlled data
The corporate enquiry website is directed to business contacts and is not designed to collect children's information. If a child has supplied information inappropriately, contact us to arrange review and deletion where required. For education and other child-facing products, refer to the product's age-appropriate privacy notice for the responsible operator, permissions, and safeguards.
Where we process information on a customer's instructions, that customer may be the data controller. Direct the request to the product's identified operator; we will assist as required by our processing agreement and law. Developing an app alone does not make us the controller of all its data.
9. Security and updates
We use access restrictions and other reasonable technical and organisational measures appropriate to the information and service. No system is absolutely secure. Report suspected disclosure or security issues through our security contact instructions. We will provide any legally required incident notifications.
We will update this notice when relevant practices change, revise its effective date, and provide additional notice or obtain consent where law requires. A new purpose must have its own lawful basis; publishing a revised notice alone does not authorise incompatible processing.
