1. Purpose and scope
This policy applies to the website and any Wan Tech-operated app, platform, network, hosted environment, or service that incorporates it. Use Services lawfully, respect other people's rights, and avoid activity that puts people, data, or infrastructure at risk. Your use remains subject to the Terms of Service and any applicable project agreement.
2. Prohibited activity
- Unlawful or harmful conduct: fraud, scams, impersonation, exploitation, threats, targeted harassment, discriminatory abuse, or promoting violence or illegal activity.
- Child abuse: any child sexual abuse material, grooming, exploitation, or content that endangers children. Such material must never be uploaded, requested, shared, or linked through the Services.
- Infringing or private material: content you have no right to use, stolen credentials, unlawful disclosure of personal information, or violations of copyright, trademark, confidentiality, or other rights.
- Security abuse: malware, ransomware, phishing, credential stuffing, unauthorised access, privilege escalation, evading access controls, or testing systems without permission.
- Disruption: denial-of-service activity, interference with other users, deliberately exhausting resources, or bypassing agreed usage limits.
- Unsolicited communications: spam, deceptive messaging, unlawful marketing, or collecting contact details for those purposes.
- Unauthorised exploitation: reselling access without permission, automating access in breach of applicable limits, or scraping data contrary to law or other people's rights.
- Unlawful trade and restricted use: prohibited transactions or use contrary to applicable export controls, sanctions, or sector-specific restrictions.
Nothing here prevents lawful criticism, exercising a statutory right, authorised interoperability work, or lawful security reporting. A paid security assessment must stay within its expressly authorised scope.
3. Content and account responsibilities
You must have the necessary rights, permissions, and lawful basis for information you upload or process. Do not place sensitive, regulated, or children's information in a Service that is not intended and authorised for it. Business administrators must manage user permissions and promptly remove unnecessary access.
Where a Service offers public content or messaging, use its reporting and blocking controls when available. Those features and their product-specific rules apply only to Services that actually offer them.
4. Reporting abuse or infringement
Email info@wantechsolutions.com with the subject "Abuse or infringement report". Identify the product, relevant page or content location, what happened, why you believe it is unlawful or prohibited, and a safe way to contact you. For intellectual-property claims, identify the rights involved and your authority to act.
Do not forward illegal material, passwords, or unnecessary sensitive information. Provide a location or description so we can investigate safely. For an immediate threat to someone's safety, contact the appropriate local emergency authority; this mailbox is not an emergency service.
5. Enforcement and review
We may investigate reports and take proportionate action, including warnings, content restrictions, rate limits, suspension, or termination. We may preserve or disclose evidence where law requires. Except where an urgent risk, law, or legitimate investigation prevents it, we will explain a restriction and provide an opportunity to respond or remedy the issue.
To challenge a decision, reply to the notice or contact our support email with the reference and your reasons. We will review relevant information and correct mistakes where identified. Applicable legal notice, appeal, and consumer rights are not limited by this policy.
